Social Events
We openly welcome people who wish to be a social member of our club. Our facilities and fantastic views of the Solent make our club room a unique place to enjoy a drink, food, and chatter with friends whilst casting your eyes over the views.
The bar is open Friday evenings from 19:00 and Saturday & Sunday lunchtimes from 12.30. Takeaway Friday takes place on the last Friday of the month. You can bring home cooked food, a takeaway from your favourite place, use the galley to heat food or borrow a plate. You may sign in your friends and family who are not members of the club up to six times each year.
Much of our social scene is in and around the sailing activities we run. Our club bar and food we offer help support this. Social events are organised by the members, for the members. In recent times we have had themed talks - round Britain sailing, youth striking out with a career in sailing, quizzes and themed evening meals.
