New slipway on the spitside
 |
I am pleased to say that phase one of the Slipway works has finished on the Spit Side and members can now enjoy the new layout. All Cruiser owners are encouraged to make use of the new Slipway with a large hard standing area at the bottom. The contractor has done a fantastic job and thanks to Dave Ellis and John Wardale for their superb work in getting this project underway and completed. |
| If you are a Dinghy Owner on the affected spit side area, I have asked Simon Jones the Dinghy Park Coordinator to organize new tie down wires and he is taking care of this over the next couple of days. Your boats will be moved back into their space and tied down appropriately. |
 |
Currently the winch is not in operation but will be soon. If you are a Cruiser wishing to use the hard standing/slipway area then you must contact the Harbourmaster so that he can place you in the queue. John Wardale
The work carried out demonstrates a significant investment by the Sailing Club. I hope that you take advantage of this and I look forward to receiving your feedback anytime.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me,
Luke Morrison
