MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS
Applications for membership can be made at any time during the year. To the left of this page you will find the membership application form. We suggest you make a visit to the Sailing Club; have a look around and talk to members to ensure we meet your needs.
All members of the Sailing club are expected to make a contribution in the form of voluntary duties, this is so that we can keep our club running and provide all the support needed to run the sailing and social programme.
If you would like to join the club, complete your membership application form, follow the payment structure seen below and place your application in the Membership Secretary Pigeon hole in the club house. You can also post to the club if you wish - addressed to the same person.
Your membership application will take about a month to process and during that time you are welcome to use the club facilities.
Cadet membership
HHSC welcome young sailors and we receive a number of cadet (under 18) applications every year. For safety reasons however we do encourage at least one parent, or preferably the whole family, to join along with the cadet. There is an undertaking on the reverse of the application form which must be signed by an adult member of the Club who is prepared to take responsibility for the child at all times that they are on Club premises or afloat in Club boats (unless they are participating in training courses officially organized by HHSC). As mentioned, we would obviously prefer this adult member to be the child's parent.
Guests visiting the clubhouse
The Club rules state that guests of members (and this includes non member parents of cadets) are permitted to visit the Club premises up to six times a year. Anyone wishing to visit the Club more often should apply to join. All guests visiting the Club must sign the visitor's book.
The Club Flag Officers wish you well in your time at Hill Head Sailing Club. Please use the contacts links to find out who is responsible for what at the club so you can become involved in your section of interest.
