Weekly Update from HHSC 2nd May 2019

While stormy weather disrupted our squad and sailing plans last Saturday - lighter winds on Sunday meant that the Laser, Feva and Race Oppie Squads did manage to make it on to the water. Alongside the squads, there was the Cadet/Novice/Ladies and Master Series with coached support.
This Sunday sees our annual RYA Push the Boat Out event. We hope you will be able to support this event which is a great opportunity for us to showcase what our club has to offer to potential new members! There are still plenty of opportunities to help support the team - see the article below.

Hill Head needs more volunteers to assist in running the racing. We are particularly short of Race Officers (ROs) at the moment and so need to move some of our existing Assistant Race Officers (AROs) into RO roles and bring more new life into the Race Box with some new ARO.

We will be offering RO / ARO training on Friday 10th May 19.00 - 21.00. This is a great volunteer role at the club offering you another perspective on sailing and racing (from the warmth of the Race Box!).

If interested add name to list in the entrance or contact Richard Whiteley
