Safety Boat Course 2019
If you wish to do the safety boat course the following skill sets are necessary. These are:
1. Powerboat level 2 qualification and a maintained level of practice and experience so that you can demonstrate that you
can complete all the tasks of the PB level 2 direct assessment to a good standard.
2. Normally a minimum of two years post PB2 experience with a record of driving a powerboat since the course.
3. Good dinghy sailing skills to level 2 standard.
4. Ability to be in charge of the powerboat and take control of situations which arise (procedures and practices taught on
the powerboat course).
