Introduction

There are several key areas where the club requires volunteers:

• Sailing activities

Race officer, assistant race officer, safety boat crew, shore based safety. These positions enable racing and leisure sailing to other sailors. 

• The club bar

We have a good till system to allow for running the bar with ease, we have a bar manager who ensures good stocks of drinks and snacks. Volunteers run the bar to enable sailors, maintenance teams, social events and social members to have a time in the lounge for chat and a good view of the Solent.

• The galley (our kitchen)

We have various social events throughout the year from themed evenings to quizzes, talks and cadet events. Acquaints for using the galley are always available.

• Maintenance

We need to maintain all of the buildings, boats and equipment we have. A variety of skills required.

Training will always be given so that you understand what you need to do.
